On Our List, Domestic…

Tuolumne Meadows area, Yosemite

Thousand Island Lake, Ansel Adams Wilderness

Tahoe Rim Trail  – 165 miles, loop

Rae Lakes Loop, Kings Canyon National Park, California – 41 miles (4-5 days)

  • Best in September
  • Explore Fin Dome in Sixty Lake Basin

Wonderland Trail, Mount Rainier National Park, Washington – 93 miles (10-14 days)
*Difficult to get permit

Timberline Trail, Mount Hood, Oregon – 41 miles

Maroon Bells, 4 Pass & 4 Lakes Loop = Ringing the Bells, CO

  • Very crowded. Go mid-week or after Labor Day
  • Allow 3-4 days
  • Approx 30 miles
  • Approx 10K elevation gain
  • Near Aspen. 5 hours from Denver; smaller airports closer

On Our List, International:


  • – 7 mile trek to Skoki Lodge. Hut only accessible via foot, puts you with access to miles and miles of trails. Starts at $195 CAD/night, all meals included.
