Start from the top of the tram at Granite Canyon Trail
Original start: Teton Pass near Highway 22
Start Phillips Pass Trailhead on Teton Pass?

  • Teton Village >> Marion Lake approx. 12.5 [shorter if you take the tram]
  • Marion Lake >> Alaska Basin approx. 8.8 // South Fork Cascade approx. 10.7
  • Alaska Basin >> North Fork Cascade approx. 10.2 // to Holly Lake +4 miles
  • North Fork Cascade >> String Lake Trailhead approx. 11 // Jenny Lake Trailhead approx. 13.7

Accommodations

The Hostel [near start]
High Season – Winter & Summer ($34-$40/night for shared bunk room)
Low Season – Fall & Spring ($20-$28/night for shared bunk room)
*Tip: Since there were three of us, we got a private bunk so we could sprawl all our gear and food and distribute accordingly. We ended up paying $38/person for one night for the private bunk room.

They have lockers. Call them to see if you need to bring your own lock.

$45/pp Tip: It’s $5 cheaper to buy your ticket online and pick it up at the window.
Open 9am-5pm
15 minute ride up to the top of Rendezvous Mountain with awesome views of the valley.

Shuttle back from end of hike

Then in Jackson, the START bus has a route that runs from Jackson to Teton Village where the Tram is.

The nearest Greyhound stop is in Idaho Falls, ID. There is also service from Salt Lake City, UT, to Cody, WY. For more information, call Greyhound at (800) 231-2222. Shuttle bus service is available between Jackson, Jackson Lake Lodge and Colter Bay Village; please call (800) 628-9988 for more information. Grand Teton Lodge Company offers half-day bus tours of the park departing from Jackson Lake Lodge every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Full-day tours of nearby Yellowstone National Park depart from the lodge every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Alltrans provides single-package tours of the area from Jackson; call (307) 733-4325 for more information.
